The cards are just an augment to the game. Judd&#8217;s picks will have me checking out several games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for me it is a tough list to build so I&#8217;m more along the lines of Bart in this one, but I&#8217;m having trouble with getting 5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" reversed start=\"4\"><li>Conflict of Heroes &#8211; Agree it is a good tactical games<\/li><li>Risk 2210 &#8211; I liked your Risk stories I have several from my college days. However, I like this version more and it has a strong card element.<\/li><li>Blue vs Gray &#8211; Hard to say card assisted when the whole game including the map is cards. The cards represent the units of your armies you have to assemble.<\/li><li>Friedrich and Maria &#8211; By far my favorite. Cards here represent your strength and locations that you can apply to battles. Very simple but so nicely captures the war of position of the 7 Years War and the War of the Austrian Succession.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Thought about the Down in Flames series &#8211; but cards there represent the plane maneuvers to get into position to fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other I may think may be in the list is Rebel Raiders on the High Seas some cards are movement but most of the rest are combat cards<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trying to find games that use cards but not to drive movement.
