Ah the king of Ameritrash so much to like here.<\/p>\n

  1. Star Wars Rebellion – May go up since I’ve only played it a couple of times but I like what I’ve seen.<\/li>\n
  2. Civilization New Dawn – A simple cive game that you can play in an evening. Nice intro to that genre. Of the mechanisms in it I really like the focus row technique.<\/li>\n
  3. Tribune – Nice Roman Theming and a good euro to boot.<\/li>\n
  4. Star Wars Armada – Much prefer the big ship combat to the X-wing system. It really feels like big ships<\/li>\n
  5. Twilight Imperium 3 or 4 – Space conquest and diplomacy at its epicness.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Honorable mentions:
    Dust – An Axis and Allies\/Risk clone that is very interesting with a card driven activation.
    BattleStar Galactica – If played with the traitor not revealing early makes for a great experience
